"Tuesday, December 30, 2008: Slow pace of Social Security cases laid to judges, staffing"

In response to a Freedom of Information Act request by The Oregonian newspaper, a Portland daily, the Social Security Administration released the production numbers and approval rates for all of its administrative law judges. The agency released complete reports for 2005, 2006 and 2007. The table for 2008 covers most — but not all — of the year.
